European Commission Competition Inspections

Norbert Schneider, Chief Executive Officer of NSK Europe Limited, confirmed that, on Tuesday 8 November, the Company was subject to an inspection by the European Commission at its offices in Ratingen, Germany, in connection with an investigation into possible anti-competitive behaviour amongst certain bearing manufacturers.

NSK is cooperating fully with the Commission investigation.  The Company is unable to give any more details at this early stage.
