Jean-Yves Chapelet, Aftermarket Director of NSK, ‘EPTDA has been working successfully to facilitate entry to the growing markets of south-east Europe, the Middle East and North Africa and support its members in their efforts to increase their market presence in these regions. This is of particular importance to us as we are very active in these regions, where we are enjoying strong growth. Last year’s efforts included the opening of our own sales offices in Dubai and Russia, and we have been present in Turkey for 17 years.’
Working with distributors is even more important in regions such as these. Jean-Yves Chapelet, ‘EPTDA is a valuable platform that helps establish and expand the contact between manufacturers and dealers in these extremely dynamic markets.’
More than 400 people took part in the Annual Convention, where one of the orders of business involved discussing the degree to which e-commerce will change the collaboration between the manufacturers, dealers and users of drive technology components.
As part of the event, NSK was honoured by EPTDA President Elisabeth Meister for its 15 years of membership, and NSK will certainly be taking part in the next EPTDA Annual Convention, which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona in 2015.
